A bird’s-eye view of Coomalie

In my final week at Coomalie, I was able to take a short flight over the farm with Rick, a friend of Richard’s. Viewing the fire scar from above was amazing! The termite mounds are also particularly impressive from above.

The strip of green vegetation is the creek, you can see the fire burned right up to it.

The view from above also offers a good view of the life-size airplane silhouettes of planes that were at Coomalie during WWII.
