Brisbane 2015

Sam and Nicole are in Queensland near Brisbane for the winter at the Lake Samsonvale field site (joining Cornell students that have been working here for about 6 years). The site is very different than Darwin; perhaps the subspecies melanocephalus may be more appropriately named the orange-backed wren!

There are also two other species of fairywrens here: variegated and superb! Stay tuned for more updates from Brisbane.
